To our worried ma's and pa's and friendzys of us team India crazy's
Okay so sorry to all that we have not kept in touch but email or should I say "internet" has been sparce and by sparce I mean almost non-existent. Well anyways the second we got off the plane and entered the land of India we all nearly sweat off our clothes. The airport was crazy, the taxi van to the train station was a bit more intense. The train station was a zoo, people everywhere. We were all tired and then took in the scenery as we rode the train for the next 5 hours.
We finally arrived in Chirala and were adorned with flower garlands (us girls felt like princesses and the boys well princes?)
Life has been insanely busy here and we need prayer for strength. Most of us have or are feeling a little sick from cultural changes. We are adapting to the food and the random power outages in our little (or big?) house. We have went on the many road trips where we pray for safety everytime we are in the vehicles. Driving is insane, they love using their horns and almost hitting people, oh and not using their brakes.
We have been teaching this week and will be for most of the time here in Chirala. They have "dubbed" us the english teachers and that is hardly what we are. <--- pray for that too! Oh and if you have any ideas how to teach English to kids who speak Telegu, let us know!
We are in India, we love you and miss you all. We will try to write more often but it is not that easy because we are super busy.
Keep praying for us and we will keep trucking.
Sincerely, Ms. Natashia Wuermli, Ms. Sarah Walsh and all other team members..

So, so glad to hear that all is well, but how else can you be with all the prayer that surrounds you. Try singing little ditties and rhymes that you can mime the English too. Or make up songs and point to items that make up the song. Everyone loves music and it will keep their attention. Love you Cat, 22 days till I see you.
Love and Blessings to all Mum

Hi all you guys!
I am thankful that you are all doing well. Tired is to be expected. My devotion said, "By faith Abraham obeyed...And he went out, not knowing, where he was going." (Hebrews 11:8) You are away from home, but remember, our safekeeping lies not in the place, but in God Himself. Keep singing Lindsey and share some care bear hugs. Love you lots, Mom and Dad
Hey guys - Glad to hear that you're safe and sound! I'm sure when you get home it'll be much cooler and snowy like you're used to. You're in my prayers!

Hello from Christen's Mom. Exciting to read the blogs, keeping up with what's happening on the team, and activities. Say A Big Hi to Christen, and give her A Big HUG.
One idea for teaching english, is to take sounds and write them on a card, to play go fish. You must have received many ideas, knowing where to begin is the difficult part, most likely someone has helped in this area. Blessings, Meg
