Attention:

Today we met a celebrity, 2 of our team members have the autograph and I Sarah Walsh shook this celebrities hand!

Now the story....

So there we all are (Kjel, Erica, Lindsey, Phil and I(Sarah) ) in the Edmonton airport waiting in the security line up when Kjel says "Hey thats Chad Kroeger from Nickelback infront of us." Then I replied "Kjel I dont think it is him, its not Chad Kroeger." Kjel persisted "yes, it is Chad Kroeger" so me being me was kind of like yah whatever Kjel Hagen. News to me that it really was the celebrity. Kjel all awkwardly and nervously walked up with his boarding pass, shaking hand and all and said "can I have your autograph" he gave him the auotgraph. Nordi also went and got his lovely name in pen on her ticket and I tapped his shoulder and shook his hand. Chad Kroeger told me his name and even asked me my name.

Moral of this story...

Kjel usually is right...!


Ps were about to have fish and chippys with Natashia in High Wycombe...the flight was amazing.

Today is the day

As I sit here writing this most of the team is sitting in the Edmonton Airport waiting to fly into Vancouver. I (Catherine) will then meet up with the rest of the group at 4 at the Vancouver Airport. All the details have hopefully come together. Please remember to pray for us as we minister to the people of India. Please pray for team unity, boldness, good health, safe flights, flexibility and a sensitivity to God's spirit.
We will be arriving in India just before 1am on the 31st we will then have a 5-6 hour wait before taking the train to the town we will be in.

Six Days to Go

So in six days team India will begin there travels. The majority of the team departs from Edmonton the morning of the 28th. They will stop in Vancouver where almost the rest of the team will meet up with them. From there we fly to Heathrow where we will be picked up by Natashia the last member of the team. We then spend the night at the Wycliffe Centre near High Wycombe, England. Then the next morning we depart for India. We will then spend the next three and a half weeks working at a school, doing evangelism, and building activities. Were all excited about the trip and would really appreciate all of your prayers.
